Oak Veneer
The Mexicano oak door offers great quality at a great price and is amongst the most popular of our oak internal doors. Mexicano oak has set the current trend and continues to grow in popularity due to its simple and uniquely versatile design. Sometimes also known as the Mexicana and manufactured by a range of companies, these perennially popular internal oak doors offer an elegant design of panels with deep grooves that is equally at home in modern or traditional homes and in any room.
Besides their obvious aesthetic value, they have a warm appearance that creates an instantaneous classic feel and lends a palpable sense of luxury to any home. The Mexicano is an engineered solid core door with an oak veneer, giving you a fantastic quality finish without the high price of solid oak. This is the unfinished version for you to treat as you wish, but we also have the prefinished oak option here.
At Vibrant Doors, we offer Mexicano oak internal doors in a wide range of sizes (both metric and imperial standard) to fit your home comfortably. We also offer Mexicano oak fire doors if you’re looking for something with a little added protection. If you require a little more light to help open up a room, Mexicano glazed oak doors work incredibly well with other oak doors, and oak furniture in general. The light woods will not only complement each another perfectly, but will really help the room breathe and lock in that warm, natural light.
These doors have solid 18mm lippings as standard on all doors sizes above 24" ( 610mm). They are also available in FD30 rated fire doors, meaning they will prevent the passage of fire and smoke for minimum 30 minutes. If you prefer a different finish, Mexicano doors are also available in white and light grey.
Due to surface area restrictions, and to ensure uniformity in panel widths, the quantity of panels per door is as follows:
Overall rating: 4.818182 / 5 from 253 reviews.

"Good solid door , looks great in the room, and good value."
"The doors arrived on time and in great condition. The ordering process is very straightforward and customer services answered my one query promptly and professionally. Will happily buy from them again if/when we need any further doors."
"Very pleased with the service and especially with the delivery. Thanks"
"Really nice doors and great quality. Delivery not as quick but within the timeframe advertised. The only downside is that if you have to return anything then forget about it as customer service is apalling and no support whatsoever if you have to return/refund."
"Second delivery I told them not to deliver it and they tried when I was on holiday"
"These doors are very good, with generous lippings on all sides, are very heavy and well finished. Delivery was excellent and plenty of information on when they would be arriving. Delivery price is however quite expensive, but acceptable if you are ordering quite a few doors. My only negatives are that the doors come with very little protection and can get small knocks and dents along the edges. If they just added some cardboard strips to all edges it would make these 5 star doors. If you can get these when the handle packs are included they are great value and recommended. Just dont try to use the provided handle/hinge screws on oak lippings. . . they're like cheese so get some better screws. Handles themselves however are good and look really nice."
"The quality of the doors are 10/10. The price was great. However the delivery time was not. As the items were delivered one week later than expected."
"Excellent quality look wonderful and the guys who installed them had no trouble fitting them. Very happy."
"Great quality product, excellent value, delivery arrive on was kept informed with delivery time, would recomend this product and Vivved Doirs"
"I thought I'd ordered pre finished but was sent unfinished. . they were delivered promptly and the driver was helpful. . my only concern with the doors, all 3, is that the bottom rail seems to be a different colour. . and it does stand out. . . . the doors do look fine now they're hung apart from the bottom rail. . ."
