Door frames are essential for the proper and safe installation of external doors. Here you'll find an extensive range of timber exterior door frames, made from stunning hardwood and Malaysian oak.

Door Linings or Door Frames?

Although you may hear the term used when referring to both internal and external doors, "door frames" generally refers to exterior doors. When it comes to internal doors, the term door linings is used. Door linings generally tend to be thinner and less hard-wearing than door frames as they are not exposed to the elements and wear and tear of an external door. Meanwhile, door frames are often sturdier and specially treated to withstand the wear and tear experienced by exterior doors.
