Installing a set of white primed bifold doors is the perfect solution when you’re looking to match your existing joinery or décor. Bifold doors are perfect for letting in the light and bringing the outdoors in, but standard colour options are limited. With a set of white primed doors you can apply your own finish to get just the look you’re after.

question

What Is A Primed Door?

Wood requires priming before it receives its finishing coats of paint. Priming seals the wood and helps the final finish to adhere well. Because primer has a high solids content it helps to fill the grain in the wood to provide a smooth surface ready for the top coat. It also stops the wood soaking up the paint.

A primed door has had the primer applied at the factory so it’s all ready for painting the shade of your choice. This is ideal if you’re looking to match the shade of your doors with existing doors and windows, or you’d like to choose a colour that’s a little out of the ordinary.

Why The Climadoor Select?

This range is crafted with a chemically modified composite timber core and toughened glass to control heat transfer, maintaining the climate of your home. This is reflected in the stunning 1.4W/m2K U value, which surpasses the requirement of Part L of the Building Regulations. Durable hardwood veneers and substantial lippings provide good scope for size reduction where necessary. Door styles are just 54mm thick, which lets extra light into your home and improves your view of the outdoors. The timber is supplied unfinished so you can apply the final finishing before installation.

These high quality white primed bifold doors are offered in a range of sizes to fit standard door openings. Available from 1800 (3ft) to 4800 (16ft) there’s sure to be something to suit your needs. Choose which side your doors should fold to with the fully reversible system, giving you the flexibility to suit your lifestyle needs. The stainless steel top-hung running gear ensures easy operation and a multi-point locking system gives you peace of mind when it comes to security.

Climadoor select doors are simple to install as parts are pre-machined ready for on-site assembly. As with the rest of the Climadoor range, you can expect fantastic value for money paired with amazing performance. Don’t settle for a set of bifolding doors which nearly match your existing décor; choose Climadoor SELECT for the ultimate finish.
