When you want your room to feel smaller and cosier, simply close your doors to create an instant room divider. There’s nothing better than a flexible home to suit different occasions, so if you like to keep your options open you can’t beat an interior bifolding door.
The Lincoln Oak Range
The Lincoln Oak design offers a happy medium that allows lots of light flow without creating a feeling of exposure. This is because each door is further divided into three narrow vertical glazed panels. This design provides a traditional and desirable look that will really open up your interior.
Available in either 3, 4, 5 or 6 door systems with either 2’0” or 2’3” door panels it’s incredibly simple to get the perfect fit for your home. Lincoln bifolding doors operate on a top hung system that makes floor tracking obsolete. This gives you a smooth opening and closing mechanism day in and day out, as well as a seamless transition between rooms. We supply all of our doors with a frame kit which includes the frame (supplied unfinished for you to decorate as you like), doors, hinges, hardware and head track in an easy to assemble kit.
What Is Engineered Oak?
Engineered oak is actually made up of a ply core, which is bonded together in layers to create a really strong centre. This core is covered with solid oak, so it looks just like a solid oak door. However the engineered core is more resistant to changes in moisture and temperature so it’s less likely to warp or crack. It’s also more thermally efficient than solid oak.
These doors are made from engineered oak so you can reap the benefits of the engineered core whilst achieving the appearance of a beautiful oak door.
These Lincoln oak doors are supplied unfinished which means they have not been painted or stained ready for installation. This means that they still need finishing on site before they can be used. This can be a big benefit for those of you who are looking to match existing doors or windows, because you can choose the exact finish you want. However, finishing is necessary and should be carried out carefully and thoroughly before these doors are fitted.
So, go ahead and choose your perfect set of interior bifold doors today!
Please note: We highly recommend that you read our storage and decoration recommendations prior to installation. All doors must be decorated before installation. All doors are supplied without handles or drop bolts to allow you to match existing ironmongery in your home.
